| IT'S ABOUT US: US50 is a collection of quality fine art and documentary photography within the United States of America. We invite you to submit photographs that reveal unique portrayals illustrating the diversity and commonalities about the 50 states, whether it's where you live, where you're from, or where you travel. SUBMISSIONS You do not have to be a resident or citizen of the United States to be a member, that's just silly. Members are allowed 3 deviations per week, contributors 5 deviations per week, and members of affiliates 2 per week (this is subject to change). All deviations submitted by members will be voted on by the administration before inclusion in one of our galleries. We have 51 folders for each state and Washington DC. We may add more U.S. Territories pending on member and watcher demand. THE VOTING PROCESS Our group's administration is composed of serious amateurs to working creative professionals with a critical eye for the visual arts and documentary photography. Similar to an art gallery or magazine, we reserve the right to be selective in what we present for our watchers. We're busy people, therefore declined submissions will not receive critique. However, if you seek to understand why your submission may have been declined, feel free to respond with your submission or in a private note and we will respond when we can. Reasons you may be accepted or declined are a combined matter of technique and personal taste. We respect that you may disagree with our decision. Here are some things to take into consideration:
